Among other things, council:

• Passed a resolution calling for the Leechburg Area School District to select the tax equalization option that fairly distributes the tax burden among all district residents. [Resolution will be posted tomorrow].
• Discussed the start of sewer user fee billing in late February.
• Discussed damages and repairs to the borough building.
• Discussed Lower Kiski Ambulance Service’s funding and fundraising needs.
• Discussed improvements in borough interest earnings since changing the borough’s official bank.
• Discussed sewer lines issues and repairs on 6th Street.
• Discussed upcoming sanitary sewer project on Gosser Street.
• Discussed water line replacement at the borough building.
