Update from the 5/12 council meeting:

• Progress is being made on setting up this year's paving project, which was approved at April's council meeting. Summit Street (from around Hawthorne St. to near Circle Dr.) And Schall Lane (from South Ave to the dead end) will be paved this year. When specific dates for the project are known, they will be posted.
• Clean up days have been confirmed for September. They will be September 14th for one half of town and September 21st for the other half. More details on the parts of town for each date and rules for clean up day will be posted closer to the dates.
• Council welcomed our new secretary, Kayla Visnovsky, to her first official meeting.
• Council signed the agreement to join the Alle-Kiski Intergovernmental Council.
• Otherwise it was mostly ongoing business and reports.

West Leechburg Borough is happy to announce Kayla Visnovsky as the new borough secretary! Kayla has been working for a couple weeks now sorting through the work she has been left.

Kayla is working from the borough building during the following hours:
Monday- 12pm to 4pm
Tuesday- 7am to12pm
Wednesday- 7am to 11am (except 2nd Wednesday of each month because of council meetings)
Thursday- 4pm to 7pm
