Among other things, council:

Authorized sending letters to State Rep Major, State Sen Pitman, Governor Shapiro, and the Westmoreland County Commissioners regarding the school taxation situation.
Discussed Easter activities in the borough. The Easter Bunny will be at the park from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on 3/30/24 to greet and take pictures with children. The Easter Bunny will then be driven around town.
Discussed the start date of repairs to the borough building and the return of the secretary to her normal office hours.
Authorized advertising an amendment to the borough’s grass ordinance that would change the cost charged to a property owner if the borough is forced to mow their grass.
Discussed multiple grant applications that the borough is waiting to hear decisions on.
Discussed possible streets to be paved in summer 2024.
Discussed completed repairs and replacement of manhole on 6th Street.
Discussed upcoming sewer line replacement project on Gosser Street and possible cooperation with Municipal Authority of Allegheny Township.
