West Leechburg is currently looking for volunteers to fill the following openings:

•  2 open positions on the Zoning Hearing Board and an alternate position for the same board
• At least 1 (potentially more) open position on the Recreation Board
• 1 open position on the Vacancy Board

The following are the major items approved at December's borough council meeting. 

• The 2021 budget with No tax increase or service cuts.
  
• Regulations allowing banners honoring veterans to be hung in the borough by an outside committee.
  
• A resolution to join the new Alle-Kiski Intergovernmental Council.
  
• Meetings in 2021 to be held the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the Firehall until further notice.
  
• An agreement to codify the borough ordinances for the first time since the 1990s.
