Trick-or-Treat in West Leechburg will take place October 31st from 6pm to 8pm. Please turn your porch light on if you wish to participate.

West Leechburg Crime Watch is planning on having hot dogs and hot coco at the firehall during trick-or-treat hours.

Council Highlights 10/9/24

Among other things, council:

Authorized the borough engineer to advertise for a sanitary sewer lining project on Sycamore St and part of Ninth St.
Discussed planning for the sanitary sewer line project on Gosser Street.
Approved (reluctantly and under the advice of the borough solicitor) a tax appeal settlement regarding the former ATI property.
Discussed upcoming legal requirements regarding the police department, including financial costs and possible solutions.
Discussed the borough’s liquid fuels allocation for 2025.
Discussed submission of the 2025 CDBG grant application.
